Experienced Anaplan Consultant – Bedford Consulting (London)
This is a fantastic opportunity for seasoned Anaplan modellers to join our team of leading Management Consultants based in London. We are looking to add highly motivated individuals to join our team of self-managing consultants.

You will already be an experienced, certified Anaplanner looking to utilise and build upon your pre-existing modelling skills by applying these to Bedford’s growing list of clients.
For any gaps in your Anaplan knowledge, ‘top-up’ training will be provided as appropriate to bring you up to our high-level of technical expertise. It is stressed from the outset that this role will require a high degree of competency on Anaplan from the that allows Bedford to place new starters on client site immediately. That means candidates will have been through multiple iterative build cycles, should have been exposed to the agile methodology and will have presented functional playbacks of completed work to customers.

As a consultant with Bedford Consulting, you will be involved in managing all aspects of projects, from working day to day with our customers building best in class planning models, to being a part of the project management team, right through to helping sustain the ongoing relationship with our customers.
There is a big emphasis on being able to self-manage your workload, as you will be working independently from the management team on a day-to-day basis. As such you should have displayed a level of autonomy in your previous employment to be fully suited to this role.
Due to the dispersed nature of our customer base, the role will require an element of travel. While we endeavour to keep travel to a minimum for all our employees you should expect certain periods where overnights away from the base are of a weekly frequency.
You will also be involved in other areas of the company as required, when not directly involved in client work. This can range from becoming involved in business development activities, client support and training, ambassadorial roles at events etc.
Working with the Anaplan platform to deliver high-quality solutions within expected timeframes and on budget. Have the capacity to own the delivery of a functional requirement with a full and thorough understanding of the product being delivered.
Designing first class proof of concept models for pre-sales meetings
Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement and structured decision-making
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge and client needs. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments on our services capabilities and industry knowledge.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments and/or responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
