Bedford is currently looking for a new Sales Executive to assist our Business Development Director in addressing more business opportunities through:
a) The individual's contribution towards managing their prospective customer bases.
b) Generating new sales opportunities for them in the form of qualified leads and appointments.
c) Closing relevant business on the telephone.
The role will involve:
• Existing database - develop prospects, along with lists provided by relevant Directors/Partners
• Opportunities in designated existing accounts
• Marketing / Mail-shot follow-ups
• Follow up on Breakfast seminars / seminars with a view to obtaining confirmed attendees
• Referrals from existing customers and other sources
• At least one year of internal/external sales experience
• Experience in a telemarketing position, with a proven track record of hitting target in this role(s), and evidence of competency in telephone-based sales/lead generation
• IT literate - familiar with Microsoft Office and other products/areas of IT
• Working knowledge of internet technologies – preferably involving having sold these within a sales environment
